Insolvency Resolution Process, also referred to as Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) is a recovery process for creditors of a corporate debtor. The process has been provisioned through The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, with National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) as an adjudicating authority.
