Corporate Law

Corporate law within its purview covers several different statutes including The Companies Act 2013, The Competition Law 2002, and the Limited Liability Act 2008 among others. India is also a signatory to several international treaties such as International Labour Organization (ILO) and World Trade Organization (WTO), etc. Therefore, Indian laws are largely consistent with corresponding statutes in other major economies of the world. India, therefore, has in its legal structure, protections available for securing the rights of the workforce, the organizations, the practices ensuring fair trade, and preventing financial frauds such as money laundering and tax evasion.
